Best museum I've been to in a very long time and trust me, I'm a rec therapists, Ive been to alot of museums. They have a great collection of everything and very friendly service. All they ask for is a donation to the museum, recommend $2.00, so it's very inexpensive. It's wheelchair accessible but in some places there wasn't enough room to get a walker by. There was however alot of walking and my resident were very tired out after but enjoyed the overall tour, around 1 and a half hours. I look forward to going to their high tea on the lawn in August. Definitely a must go to place in the future.

It is a wonderful place to visit lots of history as it is part of the old CPR station from Calgary. A sandstone building that was moved piece by piece. The other half is in High River Alberta. Tonight was the annual pre-Christmas late night shopping tree lighting carol singing celebration.

What a great little museum and visitors center! Well worth a trip if you are interested in local history or just need a break from driving. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly - a great spot for a picnic.
